In the East Asian tradition, a myeongseo (命書) meant a document that read and recorded a person's fate (命). If myeongli (命理) is the method of reading life's patterns through disciplines like Saju and Zi Wei, the myeongseo was the record that brought those readings together in one place. The old readers did not view each angle in isolation — they looked at where the readings overlapped or contradicted, to see a person in the round.

A Myeongseo layers up to six disciplines onto the Saju spine. Each is reflected as far as you have completed it, and disciplines you have not yet explored are never invented.

The four pillars, five-element balance, structure and useful-god of your Saju, the star placements of a Zi Wei chart — all core values are computed by the almanac and classical formulas, so the same birth date and time always yield the same values. Even disciplines that extract features from a photo, like face reading and palmistry, pass on only the signals their traditional principles produce.

AI's only role is to read across these computed results. It marks the convergence coordinates where several disciplines meet on the same element, frames divergent signals as the difference between a 'learned self' and an 'inborn temperament', and weaves them into a single human-readable narrative. Even then it is constrained to cite only the signals provided — it never invents a discipline or declares that 'fate is fixed'. How often is a Myeongseo updated?

A Myeongseo is re-synthesized when its data changes. If your Saju (birth details) or the layered discipline signals actually change, it re-synthesizes on the new data; when we improve the interpretation prompt and raise the version, existing readers receive the new version for free. Simply re-opening the same data does not trigger an update.

Which disciplines do I need to see a Myeongseo?

The Saju spine alone is enough to generate a Myeongseo. Zi Wei, face reading, palmistry, name study, Sasang constitution and personality type are layered in automatically as far as you have completed them; disciplines you have not yet explored are mentioned only lightly as 'threads not yet drawn', never invented. So the more you complete, the more coordinates there are to mark convergence and tension, and the deeper the report.
