Chao Shan (court hill)
The far range beyond the table hill, standing as if in audience with the site.
The court hill lies further out than the table hill, and the favoured form is one that faces the site as a minister faces the throne. Where the table hill gathers qi close in, the court hill sets the grade of the wider prospect. A composed ridge turned toward the site is read as better than one turning away or breaking apart.
