What is the Canopy Star?
The Canopy (華蓋) is read in relation to the branches Chen, Xu, Chou, and Wei, linked to art, scholarship, religion, solitude, and expertise. Its grain makes depth in a world of its own rather than in the crowd. Read sometimes as loneliness, it shines where immersion is the asset — research, creation, practice.
How to read it
The deeper you go, the more keeping one channel open to the world keeps the grain from being lonely.
