The 24 Solar Terms
The twenty-four solar terms divide the sun's path into twenty-four seasonal markers. In Four Pillars astrology they set the month boundaries — the month's pillar turns at the solar term, not the first of the calendar month. Each term is assigned an element and an organ, and guides the season's care.

Summer · Fire / Heart
Autumn · Metal / Lung
Winter · Water / Kidney
